Patrick was the Associate Director of Social at Complex, where he worked since 2016. He is a social media manager, writer, copy editor, and photo/video editor. Patrick graduated from Bates College, where he majored in African American Studies. He wrote an Honors Thesis his senior year on the combination of oral and written culture in Hip Hop, which he successfully defended in front of a panel of his professors. 

 

Born and raised in New York City, Patrick is a huge fan of basketball, video games, sneakers and Hip Hop. If you're a Brooklyn Nets fan, I'm sorry to hear that, because it's Knicks all day over here. I believe in this tweet and will fight you about it (unironically). And I'm the greatest warthog gunner in Halo history, just fyi.
